Every month, the Victoria Real Estate Board <\/a>(VREB) tracks the activity of Buyer’s through a survey completed by Victoria area REALTORs\u00ae. Here are the June results for you info:<\/div>\n

\"stats\"<\/a>\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 16% were first-time buyers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 16% secured high-ratio mortgages, whereas 24% paid cash<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 14% were single females, 25% were couples with children and 14% were retired<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 61% were from within Greater Victoria, 6% from Up-Island, almost 10% from the Lower Mainland, and 8% from outside Canada<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 60% bought within Metro Victoria<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Over 72% found the properties via a REALTOR\u00ae or the REALTOR\u2019s\u00ae automatic search and less than two percent through print advertising.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
